East Nepean Little League Membership
Batter safety is of critical importance for everyone. While not required, additional face protection can be used with batting helmets. Little League batters helmets are governed by the NOCSAE standard and our insurance policy is based on this. Little League International is advising us that full face shields supplied by the original manufacturer is the preferred method for full face protection. The C-flap, a more recently developed add-on is complicated by the number of 3rd party provided products that may void the NOCSAE certification when installed. To ensure we are in compliance with the terms of our insurance, East Nepean Little League will not be allowing the C-flap for the 2018 season.
