The Major Division is for boys and girls ages 11 & 12. The Major Division will be broken up into 2 levels based on skill. This allows all our players to play at their skill and comfort level and makes the games safer for everyone. Evaluations will be held in April to place all Major players into the appropriate level. Teams in each level will then be sorted to create equal teams.

Spring Season

The Spring House League Season runs in May and June. There are 2 games per week played at either the Doug Frobel Park in Cityview or at Eagles Nest 1 in Barrhaven. The games start at 6:00 pm but the players are expected to be early to properly warm up. Players are required to have their own gloves and must wear a protective cup. Cleats are recommended. The league will provide each player a uniform (to be returned at the end of the season) and a hat (to be kept by the player) as well as bats and batting helmets as part of team equipment.

Summer Season

Summer Baseball is the second half of the baseball season in East Nepean and runs in July and August. Players must have played in the Spring Season to play in the summer. We have two types of teams in the summer season: Division All Star Team and Division Summer B Teams.

All Star Teams

All Star Teams are selected after a tryout process to be held in June. The All Star Teams are East Nepean's representatives in the World Wide Little League Tournament which starts with the District 2 playdowns and continues on to Provincial, Canadian and World Series Championships for the successful teams. Players on this team need to be available and committed to many practices before tournament play and are expected to be available for all tournament games. The All Star Teams will also participate in the Summer A Baseball League with other All Star Teams in the Ottawa Area. The summer league has 2 games per week , one home and one away with games against teams from District 2 (West Ottawa) and District 6 (East Ottawa) which typically start at 6:00 pm.

Division Summer B Teams

Division Summer B Teams are made up of players who want to play summer baseball but don't want the extra commitment required by the All Star Team. Our Summer B teams also play 2 games per week, one home and one away, with other B teams from District 2 (West Ottawa) and District 6 (East Ottawa) which typically start at 6:00 pm. The teams also can participate in weekend tournaments. The league will create as many teams as possible to accommodate all the players who wish to play in the summer and these teams will be balanced teams.

Details on tryouts will be provided by your spring coach.
